Roberto Ferrigno
Executive DirectorRoberto has an extensive background in environmental advocacy, strategic policy advice, and EU public affairs. He held senior management positions in global and European organisations such as Greenpeace, the European Environmental Bureau (EEB), the Economic and Social Committee of the European Communities (ESC), the Italian Agency for the Protection of the Environment (ANPA) and Weber Shandwick, where he was Vice President of Public Affairs. In this role, he provided strategic advice at EU and global levels to a wide range of clients, including business and trade associations, NGOs, and non-EU governments. He set up Lumina Consult In Brussels in 2005, using the unique skills and qualifications obtained in over twenty years of experience in EU policy-making.
Roberto is honored to be a Board member of the following organisations: Basel Action Network (BAN) based in U.S. and Institute for European Environmental Policy (IEEP) based in Brussels.
Gaia Angelini
Projects CoordinatorSenior EU Specialist in Public Affairs and project management with extensive experience on issues related to the environment and circular economy, ecological transition, animal welfare. She has worked for the European Parliament, European Commission, global NGOs and private companies working on chemicals, technological innovations in risk and hazard assessment, SDGs, global treaties on wildlife trade (CITES) and nature-based agreements, circular economy, forest conservation. She is involved in EU-funded projects such as Horizon 2020, LIFE and Erasmus+. She coordinates and is involved in European decision-making processes and stakeholder platforms.
She holds specialisations in Management (Harvard Business School and LSE – UK), Environmental Decision Making (Open University UK), European and International Law (UNITAR-UN Training Centre) and Univ. La Sapienza, degree in Political Science.

Zoltan Kun
Senior Consultant Wilderness, Soil management, Nature-based solutions.Zoltan is specialised on biodiversity and protected area management issues with special focus on forests and freshwater habitats.
He is a member of the World Commission on Protected Areas and the Commission on Ecosystem Management where he is a contributor to the Rewilding Thematic Group. He has experience in running conservation and research projects on the ground. His mother tongue is Hungarian, and speaks fluent English and currently working on his Italian.
Alessandro Fazzi
Legal ConsultantLegal expert specialized in environmental and animal law. Since 2012 he has been working as consultant for animal welfare organisations, especially focusing on Court cases and European projects. Since 2018 he has been collaborating with environmental consultancies and Elected Members of the Italian Parliament on legislative dossiers about green economy, sustainability of public investments and animal protection and conservation.
Anastasiya Bondar
Junior Project ManagerAnastasiya has a legal background and is versed in Italian administrative and civil law. She supports the team in a wide range of projects. Before joining Lumina Consult, Anastasiya was an editor for an Italian online legal magazine. She speaks four languages: Italian (native language), Russian (native language), English (fluent), French (advanced), and has a good understanding of German.
Eleonora Russo
Communications and digital projectsEleonora Russo graduated in “Restoration and conservation of cultural heritage” at the University of Rome La Sapienza. After completing her studies, she began her career as an Editorial Graphic Designer, gaining experience in typography, desktop publishing and study and designing of company logos. In addition she collaborated in the planning and design of exhibitions and installations. In recent years she has specialized in web design, visual communication and social media manager. She collaborates with Pandion Edizioni, a publishing house, Editor of specialised environmental and nature publications.
Celia R. Guimaraes
Professional journalistProfessional journalist, author, trainer, tutor Specialized in technology and innovation, she has been collaborating since 2019 with the program Codice – La vita è digitale (RaiUno). She manages the Around Tech World column for StartupItalia and has previously worked as a correspondent for Rainews24 and Rainews.it. An event organizer, moderator, and speaker at tech conferences, as well as a TV guest, she conducts online training workshops for journalists and teaches Mobile Journalism, Fake News, and AI to second-year students at the Italian Digital Media Observatory and the School of Journalism in Perugia. She is a member of the jury for the Roberto Morrione Journalism Award.
